Day 1 Ktm/Zhangmu
Early morning drive from Ktm to Kodari. After doing immgration adn custom formalities
drive uphill to Zhangmu immigration post. Complete custom formalities. O/n at
Hotel Zhangmu. Day 2 Zhagmu/Xegar
Drive to Xegar crossing Nyalamu pass and Lalung La Pass. This drive offers a fantastic
view of the high mountains including Mount Everest.
Day 3 Xegar - Xigatse
Drive to Xigatse. Xigatse has the famous Tashilunpo Monastery and seat of Panchen
Lama.
Day 4 Xigatse - Gyantse
In the morning visit Tashilunpo Monastery and the free market of Xigatse. In the
afternoon drive to Gyantse and vist Phalkor Monastery and Khumbum stupa.
Day 5 Gyantse - Lhasa
The drive to Lhasa takes 08 hours, crossing two passes, the Karo La and Kamba
La via Yamdrok Tso lake.
Day 6 and 7 Lhasa
Sight seeing tour Potala Palace, Norbulinka Palace, Jokhang Temple, Drepung Monastery,
Sera Monastery and Barkhor bazaar.
Day 8
Transfer to Gonggar airport for our onward flight Kathmandu.
